Dua Lipa has offered fresh autumn fashion inspiration with two striking designer outfits at the 2026 London Literature Festival on Saturday, 24 October.

The singer attended the Southbank Centre event, where she hosted conversations with novelist Zadie Smith and poet-musician Mustafa, combining her passion for literature with her distinctive fashion style.

For her discussion with Smith, Lipa wore a red knit ensemble from Chanel’s Fall 2026 collection, creating a vibrant seasonal look. She paired the outfit with black leather knee-high boots by Le Silla, adding an edgy contrast to the refined designer pieces.

The standout footwear was Le Silla’s Colette Boot, featuring extensive front lacing, a pointed silhouette and a dramatic 120-millimetre heel. The boots brought structure and attitude to the otherwise polished outfit.

Knee-high boots remain an autumn wardrobe staple, but lace-up designs offer a distinctive alternative to conventional riding boots and streamlined styles. They can be paired with knitted dresses, midi skirts, tailored coats and shorter hemlines to create a statement look.

Lipa later changed into a black Prada ensemble for her conversation with Mustafa about his poetry collection Nour. The outfit featured a tank top and matching pencil skirt, complemented by visible pink bra straps and sheer black stockings with embroidered floral details.

She completed the second look with white Prada pumps featuring feather trim, demonstrating a softer approach to statement footwear.

The contrast between the two ensembles highlighted how shoes can transform an outfit, whether through bold lacing and dramatic heels or playful embellishments and contrasting textures.

For autumn styling, Lipa’s looks offer inspiration for combining statement footwear with simple silhouettes. Pairing distinctive boots with soft knitwear or structured outerwear can create a balanced appearance without overwhelming the overall outfit.

Her London appearance demonstrated that carefully chosen footwear can become the defining feature of a seasonal wardrobe.
