Dua Lipa reveals secret behind unforgettable wedding with Callum Turner

Dua Lipa says she and husband Callum Turner focused on finding each other in the crowd and enjoying the moment rather than chasing wedding-day perfection.

Dua Lipa has revealed how she and husband Callum Turner made their wedding celebrations more memorable by focusing on each other rather than trying to make the occasion perfect.

Lipa and Turner reportedly tied the knot in a private civil ceremony at London’s historic Old Marylebone Town Hall on May 31, 2026. The intimate occasion was attended by a number of high-profile guests, including Mark Ronson, Charli XCX and Donatella Versace.

The couple then extended their celebrations over three days, turning their wedding into a longer celebration with family and friends.

Dua Lipa reveals wedding advice she followed

In a recent interview with Vogue Italia, the 31-year-old English singer and songwriter opened up about the advice she and Turner received before their big day and explained which pieces of advice they chose to follow.

“The wedding day was magical,” Lipa said, explaining that the couple decided to experience the occasion almost as though they were guests themselves.

She said another important piece of advice was to continually look for each other in the crowd, ensuring they did not lose sight of one another during the celebrations.

According to Lipa, the approach allowed the couple to spend plenty of time together rather than becoming separated by the demands of a large wedding.

Couple prioritised each other over perfection

The “Levitating” hitmaker said she and Turner, known for his role in The Boys in the Boat, regularly checked in with each other to make sure they were both enjoying the celebrations.

Lipa also suggested that having supportive guests around them helped reduce the pressure and stress that can come with organising a major wedding.

Rather than worrying about making every detail perfect, the couple concentrated on being present and sharing the experience together.

Dua Lipa says approach created lasting memories

Lipa said the decision ultimately helped them create “so many amazing memories” together.

By focusing on one another throughout the celebrations, the couple were able to experience their wedding as a shared occasion rather than allowing the demands of hosting a major event to overshadow the day.

Their approach turned the celebrations into more than just a single ceremony, giving Lipa and Turner memories they could look back on as a couple and share with their family and friends.
