Dua Lipa says she will “never forget” the magical first night of the Sunny Hill Festival 2025 in Kosovo. The 29-year-old global pop star took the stage in Pristina, the capital and largest city of her native country, just one day after officially receiving citizenship from the Republic of Kosovo.
The electrifying performance was part of the three-day Sunny Hill Festival — an annual international music event founded by Dua Lipa and her father, Dukagjin Lipa, in 2018 to support their Sunny Hill Foundation charity. The festival has since become one of the most anticipated music gatherings in the region, drawing fans from across Europe and beyond.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, August 2, the Levitating hitmaker shared a carousel of stunning photos from the concert. In several shots, she was seen performing alongside her father, creating a memorable family moment on stage.
“SUNNY HILL FESTIVAL NIGHT ONE. This festival is something my family and I created with so much love for our city PRISHTINA and to see it come to life like this is beyond anything I could’ve dreamed of,” Dua wrote in her heartfelt caption.
She continued, “Sharing this night with you all, in the city that shaped me, surrounded by so much energy, joy, and pride… it’s hard to put into words what it means. Performing for you, and sharing the stage with my dad @dukagjinlipa, was a moment I’ll never forget.”
Expressing her gratitude, Dua added, “I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful. And we still have two more nights to celebrate together!!” She closed her message with an affectionate note in Albanian: “JU DUA me krejt zemrën,” meaning “I LOVE YOU with all my heart.”
The Dance the Night singer will continue to headline the festival on August 2 and 3, 2025, promising more unforgettable moments for fans in her home city. With her passionate performance and deep connection to Kosovo, Dua Lipa once again proved why she remains one of the most beloved artists on the global stage.
