Dua Lipa recently opened up about the challenges of maintaining long-distance relationships while promoting her lifestyle platform, Service 95. The 30-year-old singer and songwriter shared her insights on “staying connected with loved ones from the other side of the world.”
During her year-long Radical Optimism tour, which concluded in December 2025 in Mexico City, Lipa had to stay apart from her family and London-based fiancé Callum Turner. Reflecting on the experience, she admitted, “I’ll start by saying this: it does get easier with time, but it never stops being hard.”
The Dance the Night singer elaborated, “Being far away from your family is tough. It’s not just the big occasions you miss; it’s the build-up of small moments that can leave you feeling out of sync with each other.”
Despite the difficulties, Dua emphasized the enduring nature of love, saying, “Yes, relationships do change with distance, but love doesn’t.” She added, “If anything, it can feel even stronger when you don’t get to see each other all the time,” highlighting how separation can deepen emotional bonds.
Lipa and Turner first sparked their romance in January 2024 after she attended the premiere after-party for his Apple TV+ series, Masters of the Air. Since then, the couple has made several public appearances, demonstrating their commitment despite the challenges of distance.
Through her candid reflections, Dua Lipa provides a relatable perspective on love, resilience, and maintaining connections even when miles apart.
