KARACHI: Engro Polymer and Chemical on Tuesday announced halt of production facility at Port Qasim owing to lockdown to contain spread of coronavirus.
“In compliance with directives of Government of Sindh to contain the spread of COVID-19 across province of SIndh, Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited production facility at Port Qasim will stop operation till further notice,” a notification said on Tuesday.
The company fully supports the efforts of Sindh and Federal governments to contain the spread of this epidemic and stands with nation in this difficult hour. Inshallah, by grace of Allah Almighty, the spread will be contained soon.
The company will inform the exchange as soon as the production activities will resume.
