Commissioner Quetta, Hamza Shafqaat, has assured the public that extensive security arrangements have been established for the observance of Muharram, specifically on the 9th and 10th.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, he revealed that a significant deployment of five thousand police, FC, and Levies personnel will ensure the safety of the Ashura procession.
Additionally, the procession will be closely monitored from the air, and the Pakistan Army will be on standby to respond to any emergencies.
