Karachi, October 16, 2024 – eTurbo Motors has set a new standard in Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market with the launch of its fastest and most affordable electric motorcycles. The event, held in Karachi, was attended by notable figures, including Sindh Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon as Chief Guest, as well as consular generals, corporate CEOs, and other dignitaries.
The launch reflects eTurbo Motors’ commitment to providing eco-friendly, affordable transportation solutions tailored to Pakistan’s growing mobility needs. The company has invested PKR 500 million in a state-of-the-art production facility in Karachi’s SITE area, capable of producing 10,000 motorcycles annually, with plans to expand based on market demand.
Sheikh Osama Nadeem, CEO of eTurbo Motors, emphasized the company’s dedication to leading Pakistan’s green energy revolution. “Our vision is to provide affordable, eco-friendly, and reliable transportation for every Pakistani,” Nadeem stated. “We’ve designed our range to meet the needs of different segments, from young commuters to seasoned riders. This is just the beginning as we aim to lead Pakistan toward a sustainable future.”
eTurbo Motors introduced a diverse range of electric motorcycle models, each catering to specific market segments. The ECO variant, fitted with a 60-volt lithium battery, offers a range of up to 200 kilometers per charge and a top speed of 75 km/h, making it ideal for urban commuters.
For riders seeking higher performance, the Warrior and EVO models feature powerful 3000-watt hub motors paired with 72-volt lithium batteries, capable of reaching speeds up to 120 km/h. The Warrior variant stands out with its long-range capacity, covering up to 300 kilometers per charge, and is equipped with dual-piston disc brakes for enhanced safety.
The Pulsar variant offers a balanced performance with a range of up to 230 kilometers per charge and a top speed of 90 km/h. Meanwhile, the Thunderbolt and Thunderbird models cater to shorter commutes, offering ranges between 110 to 120 kilometers per charge with top speeds of 95 km/h.
At the launch, Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon commended eTurbo Motors for its contribution to Pakistan’s green energy goals. “The launch of eTurbo Motors is a significant step toward realizing Pakistan’s environmental ambitions. This investment supports not only our sustainability goals but also local industry and job creation,” he said.
With its production facility now operational, eTurbo Motors is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles in Pakistan.
