Karachi, August 5, 2025 – The exchange rate for the Euro (EUR) against the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) remained steady in the open market on Tuesday.
As of 9:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), the buying rate for one Euro stood at Rs 328.65, while the selling rate was recorded at Rs 330.30.
These rates are influenced by real-time market dynamics and foreign currency demand, and they are updated daily to reflect changes in global and domestic financial trends. The buying rate is the amount in rupees a bank or exchange company pays a customer to acquire one Euro. Meanwhile, the selling rate is the price in rupees at which that institution will sell one Euro to a customer.
The Euro-to-rupee exchange rate plays a crucial role in determining the cost of European imports, overseas education, travel expenses, and remittances from Pakistani expatriates living in Europe. Given the Euro’s position as one of the most traded international currencies, even minor fluctuations in its value against the rupee can significantly impact local markets.
Analysts caution that the Euro/rupee parity may continue to fluctuate in response to changes in Eurozone inflation, European Central Bank policy moves, or shifts in Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves. Therefore, customers planning currency exchange are advised to monitor updates frequently and compare rates across different money changers before conducting large transactions in Euro or rupee.
