Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) is preparing to introduce its first CKD-assembled SUV in the local market, marking a major milestone in the brand’s product lineup.
The highly anticipated Suzuki Fronx, a compact crossover SUV, is expected to make its debut in the first quarter of 2026.
Expected Price in Pakistan
According to industry reports, the expected price of the Suzuki Fronx in Pakistan will fall between Rs 6 to 7 million, making it a strong competitor in the country’s growing compact SUV segment.
This launch will also signal Suzuki’s re-entry into the SUV category after years of focusing on hatchbacks and small multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs).
Exterior Design
The Suzuki Fronx exterior combines sporty and SUV-inspired styling with a coupe-like silhouette.
Key highlights include a bold front grille with gloss black accents, a split-headlamp design with LED DRLs, and double fenders that enhance its dynamic look.
The SUV is equipped with electrically adjustable and foldable mirrors with integrated indicators, sleek LED tail lamps, and privacy glass on rear windows.
It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 195/60 R16 tyres and offers around 170 mm ground clearance, ensuring both urban practicality and light off-road capability.
Interior & Comfort
Inside, the Suzuki Fronx interior focuses on comfort and technology. Higher trims are expected to feature a 9-inch HD infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while base variants may include a 7-inch unit.
Other modern features include a head-up display, wireless charging pad, rear AC vents, and ample storage space.
Passengers will also benefit from 60:40 split-folding rear seats, a leather-wrapped adjustable steering wheel with mounted controls, automatic climate control, push start, and keyless entry in premium trims.
Performance
Globally, the Fronx is powered by a 1.5L DUALJET petrol engine paired with Suzuki’s mild-hybrid SHVS system.
It delivers 77 kW of power and 138 Nm of torque, available with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
The hybrid assistance improves fuel economy and acceleration, making it ideal for urban commuting.
Safety Features
On the safety front, the Suzuki Fronx SUV comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and hill-hold control as standard.
Higher trims are likely to offer advanced features such as side and curtain airbags, ESP, 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat anchors, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.
With its competitive price range, modern features, and hybrid technology, the Suzuki Fronx in Pakistan is set to become a promising addition to the compact SUV market.
