Islamabad, November 11, 2025 – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a major reshuffle in the Pakistan Customs Service (PCS), issuing transfer and posting orders for 83 officers ranging from BS-17 to BS-21 across various customs departments.
According to the official notifications released on Tuesday, the reshuffle includes key administrative changes at senior levels, aimed at improving operational transparency, accountability, and efficiency within the customs network. The FBR has issued three separate notifications detailing the officers’ new assignments and responsibilities.
Following are the names of some of the prominent officers affected by the latest reshuffle:
1. Muhammad Ali Raza Hanjra (BS-21) – Appointed as Project Director (ITTMS), FBR Headquarters, Islamabad.
2. Irfan-ur-Rehman Khan (BS-21) – Posted as Member (Legal & Accounting-Customs), FBR HQ Islamabad, succeeding the retiring Chief Collector of Customs Appraisement, Quetta.
3. Muhammad Mohsin Rafiq (BS-20) – Transferred as Chief Collector (OPS), Exports & Input/Output Co-Efficient Organization (IOCO), Karachi.
4. Ms. Muneeza Majeed (BS-20) – Assigned as Director, Directorate of Transit Trade (HQ), Karachi.
5. Ms. Azmat Tahira (BS-20) – Posted as Collector, Collectorate of IOCO, Lahore.
6. Masood Ahmed (BS-20) – Appointed Chief Collector of Customs (OPS), Appraisement Balochistan, Quetta.
7. Sanaullah Abro (BS-20) – Named Director General (OPS), Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi, with additional charge of Transit Trade Karachi.
8. Ms. Nyma Batool (BS-20) – Posted as Chief, FBR HQ, Islamabad.
9. Muhammad Nayyer Shafiq (BS-20) – Transferred as Collector, Appraisement SAPT Karachi, with additional charge of Appraisement (East) Karachi.
10. Ms. Saira Agha (BS-20) – Appointed Collector, Customs (Adjudication), Lahore, previously serving in Sialkot.
According to sources within the FBR, the large-scale transfers and postings are part of an ongoing effort to enhance performance, ensure transparency, and streamline customs operations across Pakistan.
Officials noted that this reshuffle aims to inject fresh energy into key departments while strengthening leadership in customs enforcement, audit, valuation, and adjudication.
