Bestway Automotive is preparing to introduce the Geely EX2 electric hatchback and EX5 electric SUV in Pakistan on October 24, 2026, marking the brand’s entry into the local EV market.
Geely Pakistan has revealed October 24, 2026, as the launch date for its electric vehicles in the country. The upcoming launch is expected to introduce two models, the Geely EX2 and Geely EX5, to Pakistan’s growing electric vehicle market.
The entry of Geely, one of China’s established automotive manufacturers, could increase competition in Pakistan’s EV segment. The company is entering the local market through Bestway Automotive, backed by the Bestway Group, which also operates Bestway Cement.
Which Geely Cars Are Coming to Pakistan?
Geely is a major Chinese automotive manufacturer with a global presence in conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles. Its planned entry into Pakistan will bring two all-electric models targeting different segments of the market.
Geely EX2
The Geely EX2 is a compact electric hatchback designed primarily for urban commuting. With its small dimensions and electric powertrain, the model is expected to appeal to buyers looking for a practical vehicle for everyday city travel.
Internationally, the EX2 could compete with electric hatchbacks such as the Dongfeng Box and Chery Q in Pakistan. The model’s international specifications include a 39.4 kWh battery, 114 horsepower, and 150 Nm of torque.
The hatchback features rear-wheel drive and offers a claimed driving range of up to 410 kilometres under China’s CLTC testing cycle. However, its actual range in Pakistan will depend on driving conditions, weather, and other factors.
The EX2 also gained attention in China after becoming the country’s best-selling vehicle across all segments in 2025. Its eventual success in Pakistan will largely depend on its price, features, and after-sales support.
Geely EX5
The Geely EX5 is a compact electric SUV positioned for buyers seeking more space and performance. In Pakistan, it could compete with the BYD Atto 3, Jaecoo J6, and Dongfeng Vigo.
The international-spec EX5 comes with a 60.2 kWh battery pack, producing 218 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. It uses a front-wheel-drive layout and offers a claimed range of up to 530 kilometres on the CLTC cycle.
These specifications position the EX5 as a potential option for buyers considering an electric SUV for daily commuting and longer journeys.
Expected Prices and Availability
Both the Geely EX2 and EX5 are expected to enter Pakistan as completely built-up (CBU) imported vehicles. Their local prices, booking details, and delivery timelines will be important factors in determining their competitiveness.
With the October 24 launch approaching, further details about the two electric cars are expected to clarify their positioning in Pakistan’s EV market.
