Karachi, November 28, 2025 – Ghandhara Industries Limited announced on Friday that it is set to introduce Zhongtong luxury buses in Pakistan through a newly formed strategic partnership.
In a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company confirmed that it has entered into an agreement with Zhongtong Bus Holding Co. Limited, a globally recognized bus manufacturer. The collaboration aims to bring Zhongtong’s premium buses to the Pakistani market for both commercial and passenger transport sectors.
Ghandhara Industries revealed that it will establish a dedicated manufacturing line for assembling Zhongtong buses locally. This new line will complement the company’s existing bus body fabrication facility, enhancing its capacity to assemble and manufacture buses within Pakistan. The initiative is expected to boost local production, reduce reliance on imports, and strengthen the domestic automotive industry.
According to the announcement, completely built-up (CBU) Zhongtong luxury buses are expected to debut in Pakistan during the first quarter of 2026. Local assembly and manufacturing are planned to begin by mid-2026, subject to regulatory approvals and completion of necessary plant expansion.
The company stated that introducing Zhongtong luxury buses marks a major step in expanding its product portfolio. Ghandhara Industries expects this venture to significantly support its long-term growth, improve its competitive position, and meet rising demand for high-quality transportation solutions in the country.
