Karachi, October 18, 2025 – The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) released the latest gold and silver rates for Saturday, showing a significant decline in both precious metals as international prices dropped amid global market volatility.
According to the association, the price of 24-karat gold recorded a sharp decrease of Rs10,600 per tola, settling at Rs446,300, compared to the previous day’s Rs456,900. Similarly, the price per 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs9,088, reaching Rs382,630. The 22-karat gold per 10 grams also witnessed a reduction of Rs8,331, closing at Rs350,756.
The international gold rate dropped by $106 per ounce, closing at $4,252 from $4,358, reflecting ongoing global market adjustments.
Silver prices followed a similar downward trend. The price of 24-karat silver declined by Rs231 per tola, reaching Rs5,273, while the price per 10 grams stood at Rs4,520 after a fall of Rs198. Internationally, silver prices decreased by $2.31, closing at $51.86 per ounce.
The APSGJA stated that these prices are determined based on the interbank foreign exchange market rates and international market trends. Investors and jewellers are now closely observing the situation as global economic shifts continue to impact precious metal prices.
