Karachi, September 10, 2025 – The bullion market in Pakistan witnessed notable changes on Wednesday morning as the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association released the updated rates of gold and silver at 9:00 AM. Traders reported a surge in demand, largely driven by international market movements and shifts in currency parity.

Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed to Rs327,733, reflecting a gain of Rs3,514, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold reached Rs305,016 after rising Rs3,222. In the international market, gold per ounce advanced to $3,654, showing a $41 increase, signaling strong investor interest in the precious metal.

Meanwhile, silver also recorded gains in both domestic and global markets. The price of 24-karat silver per tola reached Rs4,358, marking an increase of Rs20. Likewise, 10 grams of silver were quoted at Rs3,736, higher by Rs17. On the global front, silver per ounce was priced at $41.25, reflecting a modest increase of $0.20.

Market analysts believe these movements highlight the ongoing global trend of investors turning toward safe-haven assets like gold and silver amid economic uncertainties. The association clarified that the gold rate in Pakistan is calculated on the basis of interbank exchange rates, directly linking domestic bullion prices to global shifts.
