gold and silver rates update

Karachi, September 14, 2025 – The bullion markets in Pakistan remained closed on Sunday, and therefore the updated prices of gold and silver reflect the closing figures of the previous trading session.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association issued the latest data, giving traders and customers a reference point for comparison with earlier rates.

In the domestic market, the price of gold witnessed a modest decline. The 24-karat gold rate fell by Rs200 per tola, bringing it down to Rs386,300. Likewise, the price per 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs172, settling at Rs331,189. For those purchasing jewelry in 22-karat quality, the new rate was recorded at Rs303,600 per 10 grams, reflecting a decrease of Rs158. On the international stage, gold also showed a minor dip, closing at $3,643 per ounce, down by $2 compared to the previous session.

The silver market mirrored this downward correction. The price of 24-karat silver slipped by Rs13, now standing at Rs4,443 per tola. Similarly, silver per 10 grams was quoted at Rs3,809 after a fall of Rs11. In the global market, silver eased to $42.15 per ounce, down by $0.13.

Market observers note that these fluctuations in gold and silver are closely tied to global currency strength, economic uncertainty, and investor demand. Jewelers in Pakistan emphasized that despite the decline, consumer interest in precious metals for investment and ornaments remains steady.
