Karachi, September 19, 2025 – The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association on Friday announced the updated market rates of gold and silver across the country. The prices reflect both domestic market trends and the movement in the international bullion market updated at 9:00 AM.

According to the fresh update, the price of gold 24-karat per tola was recorded at Rs388,600, marking a decline of Rs2,400 compared to the previous day. Similarly, gold 24-karat per 10 grams fell to Rs333,161 after a decrease of Rs2,058, while gold 22-karat per 10 grams was quoted at Rs305,408, down by Rs1,887. In the global market, gold per ounce also slipped by $24 to settle at $3,368, indicating a softer international trend.

On the other hand, silver also registered a downward revision. Silver 24-karat per tola dropped to Rs4,387, a decline of Rs109. Likewise, silver 24-karat per 10 grams decreased by Rs93 to Rs3,761. The international market also showed weakness, with silver per ounce dropping by $1.09 to $41.60.

The jewelers’ association clarified that the prevailing interbank exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar has been taken as the reference benchmark for calculating the local gold and silver prices. Analysts believe that the recent fluctuations are closely tied to currency adjustments and changes in global investor sentiment toward precious metals.
