Karachi, September 20, 2025 – The bullion market in Pakistan opened on Saturday with a mix of decline and increase in gold and silver prices.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the latest gold and silver prices were issued at 9:00 AM, reflecting both international and local trends.

The association reported that gold prices experienced a downward adjustment. The rate for 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,100 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs387,500. Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10 grams declined by Rs943 to Rs332,218, while 22-karat per 10 grams was recorded at Rs304,544 after a fall of Rs864. On the international market, gold per ounce slipped by $11, now standing at $3,657.

In contrast, silver showed a positive trend in the local market. The 24-karat silver rate per tola increased by Rs29 to reach Rs4,447. Likewise, 24-karat silver per 10 grams rose by Rs25 to Rs3,815. On the global front, silver per ounce advanced by $0.29, now priced at $42.20.

The association further clarified that both gold and silver prices in Pakistan are determined based on prevailing interbank exchange rates, which directly impact domestic valuations. Traders and investors continue to monitor these fluctuations closely, as they influence jewelry demand, investment strategies, and hedging decisions in the face of currency movements and global market volatility.
