Karachi – The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association released the updated opening prices of gold and silver in Pakistan on Sunday, September 21, 2025. The fresh rates indicate notable fluctuations compared to the previous closing values, reflecting both international trends and local demand dynamics.
According to the association, the price of gold surged significantly in the domestic market. Gold 24-karat per tola was recorded at Rs390,300, showing an increase of Rs2,800. Similarly, gold 24-karat per 10 grams reached Rs224,619, with a rise of Rs2,401. For those preferring 22-karat jewelry, the price stood at Rs306,745 per 10 grams, also up by Rs2,401. On the international front, gold per ounce climbed to $3,685, marking an increase of $28.
Meanwhile, the precious metal silver also witnessed upward momentum. The rate of silver 24-karat per tola was set at Rs4,532, reflecting an increase of Rs114. In addition, silver 24-karat per 10 grams closed at Rs3,885, gaining Rs98. Internationally, silver per ounce rose to $43.05, up by $1.14.
The association clarified that these prices of gold and silver are determined in line with movements in the interbank foreign exchange market and global bullion trends. Experts believe that rising international demand, coupled with currency exchange fluctuations, will continue to influence the local pricing of both precious metals in the coming days.
