Karachi, September 25, 2025 – The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA) has released the closing prices of gold and silver in the local bullion market, reflecting both international trends and the impact of Pakistan’s foreign exchange movements.

According to APSGJA, gold prices witnessed a notable decline on Thursday. The price of 24-karat gold per tola was recorded at Rs396,800, marking a decrease of Rs2,000 compared to the previous session. Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams fell to Rs340,192, showing a drop of Rs1,714. For those tracking 22-karat standards, gold was priced at Rs311,854 per 10 grams, reflecting a fall of Rs1,571. On the international front, gold per ounce closed at $3,750, down by $20.

In contrast, silver prices showed an upward trend. The rate of 24-karat silver per tola rose to Rs4,663, an increase of Rs26. Likewise, silver per 10 grams climbed to Rs3,997, gaining Rs22. On the global stage, silver per ounce settled at $44.36, rising by $0.26.

The APSGJA clarified that these gold and silver rates are calculated based on the interbank foreign exchange market. Experts note that fluctuations in the U.S. dollar, global inflation, and commodity demand continue to shape the movement of bullion prices. Investors, jewelers, and households are advised to monitor the latest updates closely, as gold and silver remain safe-haven assets amid economic uncertainty.
