Gold Price in Pakistan Eases Amid Decline in International Market

Karachi, July 15, 2023 – The gold price in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline on Saturday as the international market experienced a notable slide, causing concerns among investors.

Local markets observed a considerable decrease in the value of 24-karat gold per Tola, dropping by Rs1,300 to settle at Rs213,200 at the end of the day. This decline follows the previous day’s closing rate of Rs214,500.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs1,115, closing at Rs182,785 compared to the previous close of Rs183,900.

Meanwhile, the gold rate in the international market declined by $4, closing at $1,955 per ounce, down from the previous day’s closing of $1,959. This downward trend in global gold prices has been cited by market experts as the primary reason for the decrease in the local gold rate.
