Ford Unveils Mustang Mach-E Rally: Electric SUV Built for Off-Roading

Ford is breaking new ground with the introduction of the rally-inspired electric Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally, marking the first time in its history that Mustang has ventured off-road.

This rally-inspired, all-electric SUV will be showcased at the renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of what to expect when it becomes available for ordering in the United States this autumn.

The Mach-E Rally will be piloted by Ott Tänak, the current driver of the M-Sport Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 entry and former World Rally champion, as it takes on the challenging hill climb.

“Mustang Mach-E took the freedom and fun of Mustang and made it free from emissions. Now with Mustang Mach-E Rally, we’re providing our customers the freedom to venture off the asphalt and explore uncharted territories,” stated Darren Palmer, Vice President of Electric Vehicle Programs at Ford Model e.

While specific details about the vehicle are yet to be disclosed, Ford has released a series of captivating photos showcasing the Mach-E Rally. The electric SUV sports a custom full body wrap adorned with “Mach-E Rally” decals along its sides.

Notable features include a rally-style roof spoiler with a white Mustang logo on each side, a custom faux grille with two additional round lights, a front red tow hook, white rally-style wheels fitted with BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A tires, and mud guards. The front and rear bumpers bear a striking resemblance to those found on the Mustang Mach-E GT.
