The price of 24-karat gold per Tola increased by Rs 1,000, climbing from the previous day’s Rs 308,000 in the local market. Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10 grams saw an increase of Rs 857, closing at Rs 264,917, compared to Rs 264,060 a day earlier.

Market analysts and bullion traders attributed this historic rise in gold prices per Tola to the sharp uptrend in the international gold markets. Experts pointed to heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, which have driven investors towards safe-haven assets like gold. The volatile nature of international gold prices has directly impacted local rates, causing fluctuations in gold prices per Tola in Pakistan.

The global gold market witnessed an increase of $9 per ounce, with international prices rising from $2,944 to $2,953 per ounce. This surge has significantly influenced local gold prices per Tola, as Pakistan’s market remains closely linked to global price movements.

Additionally, currency depreciation has played a role in the recent spike in gold prices per Tola. With the Pakistani rupee facing pressure against the US dollar, gold has become an attractive investment option, further fueling price increases. Many investors and jewelers are closely monitoring the market trends, expecting continued volatility in gold prices per Tola.

Despite record-high gold prices per Tola, demand for gold in Pakistan remains strong, especially among investors looking for stable assets amid economic uncertainty. Analysts predict that if global tensions persist, gold prices per Tola could witness further appreciation in the coming weeks.

Analysts predicted that the in case of further rise in tensions the gold prices will increase.
