Karachi, June 7, 2023 – Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline on Wednesday, falling by Rs800 per tola (11.66 grams) in line with the easing prices in the international markets.
The decrease in gold prices was observed across different karat variations.

In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs800, closing at Rs227,300 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs228,100. Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams fell by Rs686 to reach Rs194,473 from the previous day’s closing of Rs195,559. Additionally, gold of 22-karat per 10 grams witnessed a decline of Rs628, ending at Rs178,634 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs179,262.
Simultaneously, the international market also saw a drop in gold prices, with the price per ounce decreasing by $3 to close at $1,961 compared to the previous day’s closing of $1,964.

Silver prices followed a similar trend, reflecting the decline in international markets. In the local market, the price of silver per tola for 24-karat decreased by Rs50, ending at Rs2,600 from the previous day’s closing of Rs2,650. Similarly, the price of silver per 10 grams for 22-karat fell by Rs42.86, closing at Rs2,229 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs2,271.94.
In the international markets, the price of silver per ounce dropped by 10 cents to reach $23.61, down from the previous day’s closing of $23.71.
