Gold prices in Pakistan fall by Rs5,100 per tola on October 30

Domestic 24-karat gold drops to Rs420,136 per tola as international bullion rates decline by $51 per ounce to $3,980.

Gold prices in Pakistan declined by Rs5,100 per tola on Friday, October 30, 2026, following a decrease in international bullion rates, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA).

The price of 24-karat gold fell to Rs420,136 per tola, compared with the previous closing price of Rs425,636, reflecting a significant decline in domestic bullion market rates.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs4,373 to Rs360,541, against the previous closing level of Rs364,914.

The decline in local gold prices came as international bullion rates also recorded a considerable decrease during the trading session.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $51 per ounce to $3,980, compared with the previous closing price of $4,031.

The latest decline reflects the downward movement in global gold prices, which directly influences domestic bullion rates in Pakistan.

Gold prices in the local market generally follow international bullion trends, while fluctuations in the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar can also affect domestic rates.

The precious metal remains an important investment and savings option for Pakistani consumers, particularly amid concerns about inflation, currency movements and economic uncertainty.

The latest reduction provides some relief to buyers planning jewellery purchases, although market participants continue to monitor international gold prices and currency movements for further direction.

Investors and traders are expected to keep a close watch on global bullion market developments, as changes in international prices could influence gold rates in Pakistan in the coming sessions.
