Gold prices in Pakistan fall Rs5,600 to Rs456,736 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan declined sharply on September 11, 2026, as domestic bullion rates fell alongside a $56 drop in international gold prices.

Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs5,600 per tola on Friday, extending the decline in the domestic bullion market amid a sharp drop in international gold rates.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold decreased to Rs456,736 per tola, compared with the previous day’s closing price of Rs462,336.

The price of 24-karat gold also declined in the 10-gram category. The rate fell by Rs4,801 to Rs391,577, down from the previous closing price of Rs396,378.

The latest decline in domestic gold prices followed a significant fall in the international bullion market. Global gold prices dropped by $56 per ounce, settling at $4,342 per ounce, compared with the previous session’s close of $4,398.

The sharp movement in international gold prices was reflected in the local market, resulting in a substantial single-day decline in the price of gold per tola.

Gold remains closely watched by investors and jewellery buyers in Pakistan, with local rates generally influenced by international bullion prices and domestic market conditions.

Market participants will continue to monitor movements in global gold prices for further direction in domestic bullion rates in the coming sessions.
