Gold prices in Pakistan declined by Rs600 per tola on Thursday, while international bullion prices also edged lower amid a modest retreat in the global market.
Gold prices in Pakistan fell on September 10, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold declining by Rs600 per tola in the domestic bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold fell to Rs462,336 per tola, compared with the previous day’s closing price of Rs462,936.
The price of 24-karat gold also decreased in the 10-gram category. The rate fell by Rs515 to Rs396,378, from the previous closing price of Rs396,893.
The decline in local gold prices came alongside a fall in international bullion rates. In the global market, gold prices decreased by $6 per ounce, settling at $4,398, compared with the previous session’s close of $4,404 per ounce.
The latest movement marks another modest adjustment in Pakistan’s gold market after prices remained at elevated levels. Domestic bullion rates are influenced by international gold prices as well as currency movements and local market conditions.
Investors and jewellery buyers continue to monitor global bullion prices closely as gold remains a key investment and store-of-value asset in Pakistan.
Further movements in international gold prices, alongside changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate, are expected to remain important factors for domestic gold rates in the coming sessions.
