Gold prices in Pakistan plunge by Rs6,500 to Rs429,136 per tola

Local gold rates decline sharply amid falling international bullion prices, with 24-karat gold losing Rs5,573 per 10 grams.

Karachi, November 6, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp decline on Friday, November 6, 2026, falling by Rs6,500 to Rs429,136 per tola in the domestic market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold decreased from the previous day’s closing rate of Rs435,636 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams declined by Rs5,573 to settle at Rs367,914, compared with the previous closing rate of Rs373,487.

Bullion market experts attributed the decline in domestic gold prices to falling international bullion rates. They said precious metal prices came under pressure following developments surrounding the Iran war and the US mid-term elections.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by $65 per ounce to settle at $4,066, down from the previous day’s closing price of $4,136.

The latest decline reflects the impact of international market movements on domestic bullion rates, with Pakistani gold prices continuing to respond to changes in global prices.

The fall provides some relief to local gold buyers following the previous session’s higher rates.

The association said that the exchange rate for local gold prices with the international are based on interbank foreign exchange rates released by the State Bank of Pakistan.
