Gold prices rise Rs800 per tola in Pakistan on August 10, 2026

Domestic bullion prices gain alongside international markets as Middle East uncertainty continues to support safe-haven demand.

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs800 per tola on Monday, supported by higher international bullion prices and continued uncertainty surrounding the situation in the Middle East.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose to Rs457,336 per tola, compared with the previous rate of Rs456,536.

The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs685 to Rs392,091.

Market experts said domestic gold prices remain closely linked to movements in international bullion markets, with geopolitical developments continuing to influence investor sentiment and demand for safe-haven assets.

International Gold Prices Rise

Gold prices also strengthened in the international market, where bullion increased by $8 to $4,349 per ounce.

Analysts said developments in global commodity markets could influence the direction of gold prices in the coming sessions.

They noted that movements in international oil prices could also affect bullion sentiment. Gold prices may face some pressure if the recent increase in oil prices persists and contributes to broader inflationary concerns or changes in expectations about global interest rates.

Silver Prices Also Increase

Silver prices recorded gains in both domestic and international markets.

The price of 24-karat silver in Pakistan increased by Rs77 per tola to Rs6,903.

In the international market, silver prices rose by $0.77 to $64.24 per ounce.

The simultaneous increase in gold and silver prices reflects continued strength across precious metals markets as investors monitor geopolitical developments, commodity prices and broader global economic conditions.
