KARACHI, May 7, 2026 — The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association on Thursday released updated gold and silver prices for local bullion markets, showing strong gains in both precious metals amid rising international rates.
Gold prices extended their upward trend for a second straight day, while silver also recorded sharp increases in domestic and global markets.

• Gold 24-karat per 10 grams: Rs425,893 (up Rs6,687)
• Gold 22-karat per 10 grams: Rs390,416 (up Rs6,130)
• Gold per ounce in global market: $4,744 (up $78)
Latest silver prices in Pakistan
• Silver 24-karat per tola: Rs8,445 (up Rs373)
• Silver 24-karat per 10 grams: Rs7,240 (up Rs320)
• Silver per ounce in global market: $79.60 (up $3.73)
Bullion market analysts said local prices tracked gains in international markets, where investor sentiment improved on optimism surrounding possible easing of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
Experts noted that precious metals continue to attract safe-haven demand amid uncertainty in global financial markets and ongoing geopolitical developments.
Pakistan’s bullion market has remained highly volatile in recent months, with gold prices hitting record highs earlier this year before witnessing corrections and renewed rallies in line with international trends.
