Google’s next-generation foldable, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, is shaping up to be a significant upgrade over its predecessor.

According to leaks, the upcoming foldable will feature a larger cover display, a bigger battery, improved durability, and new charging capabilities.

Tipster Evan Blass has revealed that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will support Qi2 wireless charging, a standard that enables more efficient charging and magnetic alignment. This suggests the foldable could incorporate built-in magnets on the back and be compatible with the rumored Pixelsnap magnetic charger.

While the Pixel 10 Pro Fold belongs to the Pixel 10 series, it will not debut alongside the other Pixel 10 models. Instead, Google will release it later—October 9, 2025—alongside the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a. The official unveiling will take place earlier, on August 20, during the Made by Google event.

Rumors suggest that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be slightly thicker and heavier than the current Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This change is attributed to its larger 5,015 mAh battery and the added magnetic components for Qi2 charging. The device is also expected to feature a 6.4-inch outer display and run on Google’s latest Tensor G5 chipset for improved performance and efficiency.

Expected Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Key Specs:

Outer Display: 6.4-inch cover screen

Battery: 5,015 mAh

Processor: Tensor G5 SoC

Wireless Charging: Qi2 standard with magnetic alignment

Design: Thicker and heavier for improved durability

Launch Date: October 9, 2025 (sales begin)

Unveiling Date: August 20, 2025 (Made by Google event)

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will target users seeking a premium foldable experience with better charging options, a larger battery for extended use, and the latest Google hardware advancements. With Qi2 wireless charging and possible compatibility with a magnetic Pixelsnap charger, the device could mark a new step forward in foldable charging technology.
