The Google Pixel 10 lineup has officially arrived, and while the design remains nearly identical to last year’s models, the Pixel 10 Pro XL brings subtle internal changes and a bigger push toward software and AI innovation.
Design and Display
At first glance, the Pixel 10 Pro XL looks almost unchanged, featuring a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and up to 3300 nits peak brightness. Protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides with an aluminum frame, the phone is IP68 water and dust resistant, weighing 232g with a slim 8.5mm profile.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the phone is powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 chipset, built on a 3nm process. While not the most powerful in benchmarks, it is optimized for AI-driven tasks and seamless Android integration. The device packs 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and faster data access.
The 5200mAh battery supports 45W wired charging (70% in 30 minutes), 25W Qi2 wireless charging with magnetic alignment, reverse charging, and bypass charging for gaming.
Camera System
Photography remains a highlight with a 50MP main sensor featuring OIS, a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultrawide camera. On the front, there’s a 42MP ultrawide selfie camera. Video recording includes 8K at 30fps via cloud-based upscaling and 4K at up to 60fps, supported by gyro-EIS, OIS, and 10-bit HDR.
Software and Features
Running Android 16, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is guaranteed 7 major Android upgrades, keeping it secure and up-to-date longer than most rivals. Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, Ultra Wideband (UWB), Satellite SOS, and eSIM support. Additional highlights include under-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and Circle to Search.
Unboxing and Accessories
Inside the box, users get a USB-C cable and SIM pin, but no charger. Google encourages the use of Qi2-compatible Pixelsnap chargers for magnetic wireless charging. Official cases are sold separately for around $50/€60.
Overall, the Pixel 10 Pro XL may not look dramatically different from its predecessor, but with AI-focused upgrades, Qi2 magnetic charging, and long-term software support, it continues to position itself as the ultimate Google flagship.
