Google Pixel 10a Official Render Leaks, Design and Specs Revealed

An official-looking render of the Google Pixel 10a has surfaced online, offering an early look at Google’s upcoming mid-range smartphone.

At first glance, the leaked image closely resembles the Pixel 9a, which comes as no surprise. Google has previously stated that it refreshes Pixel designs every two to three years, and since the Pixel 9a already introduced a new look, a major redesign is unlikely until at least the Pixel 11a.

Earlier CAD-based renders had already hinted at a familiar design, and the latest leaked render further confirms that the Pixel 10a will retain a compact form factor. The phone is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display (measuring roughly 6.285 inches)—a relatively rare size in today’s market, especially at an affordable price point. While the bezels remain on the thicker side, this is typical for a budget-friendly device.

One standout design element is the flush camera module, which continues to set the Pixel a-series apart. The Pixel 10a is tipped to keep a dual-camera setup, though the camera island appears slightly larger. According to leaked specifications, the phone will feature a 48MP primary camera (f/1.7) paired with a 13MP ultra-wide sensor (f/2.2), promising reliable photography performance.

The OLED display is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate, though it reportedly won’t use LTPO technology. Internally, the Pixel 10a may offer very few changes from its predecessor. Leaks suggest it will pack the same 5,100mAh battery with 23W fast charging, identical to the Pixel 9a.

Perhaps the most debated rumor is the chipset choice. Source code leaks indicate that the Pixel 10a will use the Tensor G4 processor, rather than the newer Tensor G5. If accurate, this would mean similar performance to the Pixel 9a. The device is expected to ship with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

As for launch timing, the Pixel 9a debuted in mid-March, but recent rumors suggest the Pixel 10a could arrive earlier, potentially hitting stores by mid-February. The phone is rumored to launch in four color options: Obsidian, Berry, Fog, and Lavender, replacing last year’s palette.

With familiar design, solid specs, and a potentially earlier launch, the Google Pixel 10a aims to strengthen Google’s presence in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment.
