After weeks of nonstop leaks and speculation, Google has finally made the Pixel 10a official—at least partially. The company has released a short teaser video that confirms both the phone’s existence and its upcoming launch date, putting an end to months of rumors surrounding its arrival.
The teaser, shared through Google’s official channels, showcases the Pixel 10a from multiple angles. While it doesn’t dive into specifications, it clearly highlights the familiar Pixel design language, suggesting subtle refinements rather than a radical redesign. Google also confirmed that the full announcement will take place on February 18, which is when pre-orders for the Pixel 10a will officially begin.
Ahead of the launch, Google has set up a dedicated Pixel 10a teaser page on its website. Users can sign up with their email addresses to receive an exclusive launch offer from the Google Store. However, this promotion is limited to customers who are not already subscribed to Google Store emails, making it a targeted incentive for new sign-ups.
While Google has remained tight-lipped about official specifications, recent leaks paint a fairly clear picture of what to expect. The Pixel 10a is rumored to feature a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a notable upgrade for Google’s mid-range “a” series. On the camera front, the device is expected to include a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Pixel 10a is said to pack 8GB of RAM and a sizable 5,100mAh battery, which could translate into strong all-day battery life. Powering the device may be Google’s Tensor G4 chipset—the same processor rumored to be used in the Pixel 9a—bringing improved AI features and performance optimizations.
In terms of aesthetics, the Pixel 10a is expected to launch in four color options: Obsidian, Berry, Fog, and Lavender. With the official unveiling just days away, Google fans won’t have to wait long to see how accurate these leaks turn out to be.
