Official teaser offers first glimpse of Google’s next foldable smartphone as leaks reveal Tensor G6 chip, 8-inch display and upgraded features.
Google has officially released the first teaser for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, confirming the foldable smartphone’s debut at the company’s upcoming Made by Google event on August 12.
The short teaser provides the first official look at the device, although it stops short of revealing its full design or specifications. However, previous leaks have already painted a detailed picture of what consumers can expect from Google’s next-generation foldable flagship.
Official teaser reveals familiar design
The newly released teaser showcases the silhouette of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, briefly revealing its large inner display and rear camera housing.
The rear camera module appears to retain the same horizontal design language introduced on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, suggesting Google is maintaining a familiar look while focusing on hardware improvements.
Although the teaser is brief, it confirms that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be one of the headline products at Google’s August 12 hardware event.
Leaks point to Tensor G6 and larger battery
According to previously leaked renders and marketing materials, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to feature an 8-inch foldable inner display, offering an immersive viewing experience for productivity and entertainment.
Under the hood, the smartphone is rumored to be powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 processor, which is expected to deliver improved AI capabilities, faster performance and enhanced power efficiency.
The foldable is also tipped to include a 4,800mAh battery, providing longer battery life compared to its predecessor.
New Pixel Glow LED expected
One of the notable rumored additions is Google’s new Pixel Glow LED, which is reportedly integrated into the rear camera module.
While Google has yet to explain its functionality, the feature is expected to enhance notifications and visual alerts while adding a distinctive design element to the foldable device.
New colour options
Leaked promotional material also suggests the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be available in a new Pine colour variant alongside a classic Black finish.
Google is expected to unveil the complete Pixel 11 lineup, including the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, during its Made by Google event on August 12, where full specifications, pricing and availability are likely to be announced.
