Three Variants Available

GuGo Motors is rolling out the Box EV in three trims: E1, E2, and E3, each offering distinct features and performance levels to suit various consumer preferences.

Performance and Driving Range

The GuGo Box EV delivers commendable performance. The E1 variant comes with a 31.4 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, while the E2 and E3 variants are equipped with a larger 42.3 kWh LFP battery. All models generate 94hp and 180 Nm of torque, driven by a permanent magnet front motor.

The top speed is limited to 140 km/h. Range is a major highlight, with the E1 providing a CLTC-rated range of 339 kilometers, while the E2 and E3 extend it to 430 kilometers.

Fast charging is a standard feature, enabling an 80% charge in just 30 minutes via a 6.6 kW AC charger. The Box EV is compatible with both AC Type 2 Europe and DC Combo (CCS2) charging ports. GuGo Motors offers a 2-year/100,000 km vehicle warranty and a 4-year/150,000 km battery warranty.

Exterior Styling and Features

The GuGo Box EV is a 5-door hatchback measuring 4,030mm in length, 1,810mm in width, and 1,570mm in height, with a 2,660mm wheelbase. Key exterior features include adaptive high and low-beam headlights (E3), LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) with automatic on/off and height adjustment, and frameless doors with hidden powered handles.

Rim sizes vary, with 16-inch wheels on the E1 and 17-inch wheels on the E2 and E3. Aluminum alloy wheels come standard on the E3 and are optional on the E2.

Electric side mirrors are included, with heated mirrors on the E3 and electric folding mirrors available as an upgrade. The Box EV comes in single and dual-tone shades of white, silver, and black.

Interior Features and Technology

Inside, the E1 features fabric seats, while the E2 and E3 boast artificial leather upholstery. Electric seat adjustments, heated and ventilated seats, and memory functions are optional on the E2 and E3.

A white and black interior theme is consistent across all trims. Electric air conditioning is standard, with automatic climate control available in the E3.

A 5-inch colored LCD instrument cluster comes standard, while the E2 and E3 offer a 12-inch infotainment screen with Bluetooth and wireless charging capabilities.

Safety and Driver Assistance

GuGo Motors emphasizes safety, equipping all Box EV variants with dual airbags, ABS, EBD, HSA, ESC, BA, pre-tension seatbelts, ISOFIX anchors, seatbelt reminders, and indirect tire pressure monitoring.

The E3 further enhances safety with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Active Electronic Braking (AEB), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Traffic Jam Assistance (TJA) + Highway Driving Assistance (HWA), direct tire pressure monitoring, front radar, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and automatic parking.
