GWM Opens Pre-Sale for New Haval H6 in China

Great Wall Motor (GWM) has launched the pre-sale of its latest Haval H6 model in China. Customers can secure the new Haval H6 with a 99 yuan ($14 USD) deposit, which entitles them to a 3,000 yuan ($423 USD) discount on the final purchase price and six additional benefits.

The new Haval H6 lineup includes five variants: three with a 1.5T engine and two with a 2.0T engine. A plug-in hybrid model featuring Great Wall Motor’s Hi4 system will be introduced in the near future. Official pricing details are yet to be announced.

The Haval H6, first launched on August 25, 2011, has undergone several updates over the years. The newest iteration features a bold new design, including an enlarged front grille with matrix chrome elements and redesigned ‘7’-shaped headlights.

The rear of the vehicle showcases a compact roof spoiler, sharp taillights, and the English Haval logo centrally positioned. From the side, the new Haval H6 introduces more blackened elements for a sleek appearance. Built on Great Wall Motor’s LEMON platform, the vehicle measures 4703 mm in length, 1886 mm in width, and 1730 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2738 mm. It is equipped with 225/55 R19 tires.

The interior of the Haval H6 features a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a 14.6-inch central control screen, a traditional steering wheel, and a 9-inch HUD (available on high-end models). The design minimizes physical buttons for a modern look. The car’s Coffee OS is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.

Key features include 50W wireless charging for smartphones, heated and ventilated front seats, and a level 2 advanced driving assistance system with over 20 functions. The trunk offers a standard volume of 560 liters, which can be expanded to 1485 liters with the rear seats folded down.

The new Haval H6 is available with two engine options: a 1.5T (front-wheel drive) and a 2.0T (front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive). The 1.5T engine delivers 135 kW and 275 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DCT. The 2.0T engine, upgraded from the previous version, produces 175 kW and 385 Nm, and is mated to a 9-speed DCT.
