Performance-focused Haval H6 GT marks a new chapter for local SUV assembly
GWM Pakistan has officially rolled out the completely knocked down (CKD) version of the Haval H6 GT, marking an important development for the company’s local assembly operations. The performance-oriented SUV has emerged from the production line at the Sazgar Engineering Works facility, strengthening GWM’s locally assembled vehicle portfolio.
The rollout represents the introduction of a more performance-focused variant of the Haval H6 in Pakistan. The company described the milestone as the beginning of a new era of power and performance, highlighting the significance of the H6 GT for its local lineup.
Sporty Design Meets Premium Technology
While GWM Pakistan has yet to announce the complete specifications and equipment list for the locally assembled model, international specifications of the Haval H6 GT provide an indication of what the performance SUV offers.
The H6 GT features a sleek coupé-inspired exterior with sculpted bodywork, distinctive lighting and an athletic stance. Inside, the SUV combines technology and comfort with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging and intelligent voice-control functionality.
Other international-market features include dual-zone climate control, premium interior finishes, a panoramic sunroof and a hands-free powered tailgate.
Powerful Plug-in Hybrid Performance
Internationally, the Haval H6 GT PHEV is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol-hybrid powertrain paired with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and four-wheel drive.
The system produces a combined 321 kW of power and 762 Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4.9 seconds. The international version also offers an electric driving range of up to 180 km and a combined range of approximately 1,000 km.
Selectable driving modes further enhance versatility, allowing the SUV to balance performance and everyday practicality.
Local Specifications Awaited
GWM Pakistan has not yet confirmed whether the locally assembled Haval H6 GT will receive the same powertrain, range and equipment as its international counterpart. More details regarding its official specifications, pricing and booking are expected to be announced by the company.
The CKD rollout nevertheless signals GWM Pakistan’s growing focus on locally assembled SUVs and adds a performance-oriented model to the country’s expanding hybrid vehicle market.
