Gwyneth Paltrow jokes about son’s awkward reaction to Timothée Chalamet scenes

Gwyneth Paltrow has shared a candid and humorous insight into how her children reacted to her on-screen romance with Timothée Chalamet in the new film Marty Supreme. While her kids may be fans of the Hollywood heartthrob, watching their mother star alongside him proved to be a different experience altogether.

The 53-year-old actress revealed that her son, Moses Martin, 19, was particularly unsettled by her steamy scenes with the 30-year-old Dune star. Speaking at a promotional screening for the film in Santa Monica, California, on Friday, January 9, Paltrow recalled his reaction during a conversation with fellow actress Demi Moore, according to People Magazine.

“Oh my God! My poor son,” Paltrow said, joking about Moses’ discomfort. She added that attending the Los Angeles premiere was especially tough for him, quipping that he “wanted to die” while watching the film unfold on the big screen.

Marty Supreme, a ping-pong-themed drama, features several intimate moments between Paltrow and Chalamet, which previously made headlines during filming in New York’s Central Park last year.

Interestingly, the reaction at home was not entirely negative. Paltrow previously shared that her daughter, Apple Martin, 21, was thrilled about her mother being cast opposite one of Gen Z’s biggest Hollywood crushes.

Since its recent release, Marty Supreme has been earning strong critical praise and commercial success, further fueling conversations around the film and its star-studded cast.
