Heidi Klum is thrilled about her latest musical collaboration with Diplo, even if the shoot had some humorous behind-the-scenes moments. The 52-year-old supermodel shared with Us Weekly that Diplo, 47, “was very tired, like he literally fell asleep all over the place” while filming the music video for their new song Red Eye. “We constantly had to get him up off the couch,” Klum added, explaining that the DJ’s exhaustion followed a busy trip to India.
“He really is so busy. If you follow him, he is everywhere in the world,” Klum said. “When you ask, ‘Where is Heidi Klum?’ most of the time I’m either in L.A. or New York. He’s a full-on globetrotter. He’s always in the wrong time zone, and literally, it was amazing when his eyes were open [he was] still jet-lagged.”
Despite the fatigue, the duo maintained a professional dynamic. Klum emphasized, “He’s definitely not flirting with me. He’s never flirted with me in his life, and he’s very respectful.”
Reflecting on the experience, Klum described it as a “pinch-me moment” in her life. “Doing another song with Diplo, like I was so lucky to do one with Tiësto and Snoop Dogg, and each and every one of them are moments where I have no business being here, really, but I am, and it’s so much fun,” she said.
Previously, Klum collaborated with Snoop Dogg on Chai Tea and Tiësto on Sunglasses at Night. Her collaboration with Diplo highlights her adventurous creative spirit and love for unique artistic experiences, proving she’s as bold in music as she is in fashion.
