Honda offers zero per cent markup on motorcycle purchase

Atlas Honda is offering zero per cent markup on motorcycle purchase from Daraz store. The zero per cent markup is only available for twelve months instalments.

The banks associated with this offer include Bank Alfalah, MCB, UBL, Faysal Bank and Standard Chartered. The offer is only valid for the credit card holders.

In the time of inflation and uncertain economic situation, Honda is trying to provide relief to the customers. The company is offering zero per cent markup to make the motorcycles affordable to the people amid local currency devaluation against the US dollar.

Atlas Honda also offered this scheme to maintain the expected sales as the company already had 52 per cent decline in profit after tax for period ended Dec 2022.

The company predicted that the economic situation will be uncertain on account of rising inflation, fiscal slippages and drying up of financial inflows and reserves. It is essential to sustain the reform momentum and focus on policies for securing stability and promoting sustainable growth.

The company in a statement submitted to Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) said that: as the economy returns to full capacity and recovery becomes durable, the two-wheeler segment is expected to resume its growth momentum.
