Honor’s smartphone lineup for 2025 looks packed, with multiple product launches reportedly in the pipeline.
In addition to the much-anticipated Honor Magic8 series, the company is now preparing to introduce the Honor 500 series in China before the year ends. The information comes from a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, on Weibo.
According to the leak, the upcoming Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro will maintain the brand’s formula of lightweight builds and camera-focused features. Both models are expected to feature 6.5-inch displays and continue Honor’s push in mobile photography with 200MP main cameras. However, unlike their predecessors, these new devices will reportedly use a different sensor, which could improve image processing and overall photo quality.
The Honor 500 series is likely to consist of just two smartphones, following the same structure as earlier generations. As with past launches, the focus will remain on blending slim designs with powerful imaging hardware, appealing to photography enthusiasts who prefer portable handsets without compromising on performance.
The report also sheds light on the company’s upcoming Honor GT 2 series, though details remain unclear. Either one or both GT 2 models — expected to be the GT 2 and GT 2 Pro — may debut with a 6.83-inch display, high-performance chipsets, and large-capacity batteries aimed at delivering all-day endurance. These features suggest that the GT lineup will continue targeting gamers and heavy users looking for speed and power.
While the details are still early and somewhat vague, the leaks hint at a busy year-end for Honor. If the reports are accurate, the Honor 500 duo could hit the Chinese market by late 2025, possibly positioning itself as a strong competitor in the upper mid-range and premium segments.
As the rumored launch window approaches, more concrete information regarding specifications, features, and pricing of both the Honor 500 series and Honor GT 2 series is expected to surface.
