Honor is preparing to expand its Magic8 lineup with the launch of a new smartphone, and fresh leaks have now revealed real-world images and key specifications of the upcoming Honor Magic 8 Pro Air.

The device has surfaced through multiple posts on Weibo, offering the clearest look yet at Honor’s rumored ultra-slim flagship.

Honor previously teased a smartphone that would combine “Pro” performance with an “Air” design philosophy, and the Magic 8 Pro Air appears to deliver exactly that. According to a leaked product page, the handset measures just 6.1mm in thickness and weighs only 155 grams, positioning it as one of the slimmest and lightest premium smartphones in its class.

The leaked images showcase a distinctive rear camera visor that stretches across the back of the phone. The design resembles a blend of Apple’s rumored iPhone Air styling and Google’s Pixel 7 Pro camera bar, though Honor places the camera sensors in a reversed layout. The visor houses a triple-camera setup, giving the phone a bold and recognizable look.

In terms of photography, the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, similar to the one found on the standard Magic 8 Pro. While details about the secondary cameras remain undisclosed, the large main sensor suggests strong low-light and imaging performance.

Powering the device is a 5,500mAh battery that uses advanced silicon-carbon anode technology, allowing for higher energy density in a slim form factor. The phone is also tipped to support 80W fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups despite its lightweight design.

Previous leaks suggest the Magic 8 Pro Air will sport a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with high-end visuals and be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, positioning it firmly in the flagship category. Performance is expected to rival other premium smartphones launching this year.

Honor is rumored to officially launch the Magic 8 Pro Air in China later this month. The device is expected to be available in multiple color options, including black, white, purple, and orange, appealing to users who want both style and performance in a slim smartphone.
