Honor has expanded its budget-friendly smartphone lineup with the launch of the Honor X7d, a device designed to deliver long-lasting performance, durability, and solid everyday features at an affordable price point.
The phone arrives as the newest member of Honor’s X-series, which is known for focusing on big batteries and enhanced toughness.
The Honor X7d features a 6.77-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals compared to its predecessor. However, it retains a 720p+ resolution, which is slightly modest but helps maintain efficiency and affordability. To ensure resilience, the smartphone comes with SGS 5-star drop-survival certification and an IP65 rating, making it resistant to dust and water sprays.
Under the hood, the Honor X7d runs on the Snapdragon 685 processor, a two-year-old but reliable chipset. It is available in multiple memory configurations, including 12GB/128GB, 16GB/128GB, and 16GB/256GB, giving users flexibility based on their needs.
On the camera front, the phone offers a straightforward yet capable setup. The rear features a 108MP primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture, supported by a 2MP depth sensor for portrait effects. The front houses an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, suitable for video calls and everyday photography.
One of the biggest highlights of the Honor X7d is its 6,500mAh battery, which promises extended usage for heavy users. The device supports 35W Honor SuperCharge fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups when needed. Out of the box, the handset ships with MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, bringing the latest software experience.
The smartphone will be available in four attractive color options: Desert Gold, Ocean Cyan, Meteor Silver, and Velvet Black. While Honor has not yet revealed official pricing or release dates, the X7d is expected to target budget-conscious buyers looking for durability, endurance, and reliable performance.
With its massive battery, durable build, and solid hardware, the Honor X7d positions itself as a strong contender in the affordable smartphone market.
