Hyundai Nishat Motors has announced a substantial price increase for its Elantra Hybrid model in Pakistan, effective July 1, 2025. This revision follows the implementation of the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Adoption Levy introduced in the Federal Budget 2025–26.

The company confirmed that the price adjustment is directly linked to this new taxation measure, with no other significant economic factors influencing the decision, except for one premium model in the lineup.
