Hyundai Nishat Motors has revised its vehicle prices in Pakistan starting July 1, 2025, in response to the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Adoption Levy introduced in the Federal Budget 2025-26.

The company clarified that the increase is solely attributed to the levy, with no other economic factors influencing the decision—except for one premium model.

Hyundai Porter Lineup: Uniform Increase Across All Variants

The Hyundai Porter series has witnessed a consistent price increase of Rs 46,000 across all variants. This includes the Deckless, Flat-Deck, and High-Deck models, both with and without air conditioning.

Hyundai Elantra Hybrid: Rs. 286,000 Price Increase

The Elantra Hybrid has seen a significant price revision due to the NEV levy. The vehicle now costs Rs 9,985,000, reflecting a hike of Rs 286,000 from its previous price. This mid-size hybrid sedan continues to appeal to eco-conscious buyers despite the price adjustment.

Hyundai Tucson Hybrid: New Prices for Smart and Signature Variants

Both Tucson Hybrid variants—Smart and Signature—have received price hikes. The Tucson Hybrid Smart has increased by Rs 221,000 and now costs Rs 11,220,000.

The Tucson Hybrid Signature has seen a Rs 241,000 rise, bringing its price to Rs 12,240,000. These changes align with the NEV policy’s impact on hybrid SUVs.

Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid: Premium SUV Now More Expensive

The Santa Fe Hybrid, a popular choice among premium SUV buyers, also experienced price adjustments.

The Santa Fe Hybrid Smart is now priced at Rs 13,250,000 after a Rs 260,000 increase. Meanwhile, the Signature variant has risen by Rs 294,000 to a new price of Rs 14,993,000.

Hyundai Sonata Series: Highest Jump for N Line Variant

The most notable change is for the Sonata N Line, which saw a combined increase of Rs 631,000 due to both the NEV levy and other external factors. Its revised price stands at Rs 16,521,000—the highest among the lineup.

Hyundai Pakistan’s latest price revision reflects the growing impact of regulatory changes on the automotive sector. Buyers are advised to consider the updated prices when planning vehicle purchases in the coming months.
