Hyundai Nishat Motors has announced a price hike for its premium SUV, the Hyundai Santa Fe, effective from July 1, 2025. The price revision comes as a direct consequence of the newly implemented New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Adoption Levy, introduced in the Federal Budget 2025–26.
According to the company, the increase is strictly due to this levy and not influenced by any other economic factors, except for one top-end variant.
New Prices for Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid in Pakistan
The price of the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Smart variant has been revised upward by Rs 260,000, now costing Rs 13,250,000. Meanwhile, the top-tier Signature variant has seen a price hike of Rs 294,000, bringing its new price to Rs 14,993,000.
Premium Design and Road Presence
The Hyundai Santa Fe continues to make a bold statement with its striking design. The front fascia features a signature cascading grille, complemented by sharp LED headlights and T-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).
It rides on stylish 19-inch alloy wheels and includes premium touches like chrome accents, a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, and roof rails.
Luxurious and Tech-Savvy Interior
Inside, the Santa Fe offers a refined and spacious cabin equipped with advanced tech features. The Smart variant includes a 12.3-inch high-resolution TFT LCD cluster, paddle shifters, an 8-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a heated steering wheel, and wireless charging.
The Signature model elevates comfort with a 14-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and welcome lamp-equipped smart door system.
Hybrid Powertrain and Performance
Under the hood, the Santa Fe houses a 1.6L Turbocharged Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) GDi engine with a displacement of 1598cc. It delivers 177 horsepower and 265Nm of torque, which increases to 227hp and 350Nm when supported by the hybrid system.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with a change-by-wire gear selector. Driving modes include Smart, ECO, and Sport, while the Signature variant also offers Multi-Terrain Mode with settings for Snow, Mud, and Sand.
Advanced Safety Features
The SUV ensures top-tier safety with six SRS airbags, a rearview camera, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, Hill Start Assist, Downhill Brake Control, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and traction control.
Color Options
The Hyundai Santa Fe is available in six elegant shades: Polar White, Black Diamond Metallic, Silver Metallic, Magnetic Force, Oxford Blue, and Rain Forest.
This price increase reflects Hyundai’s adaptation to new policy measures while continuing to offer a feature-rich, hybrid-powered SUV in Pakistan’s premium automotive segment.
