Hyundai Nishat Motors has increased the prices of its Tucson Hybrid variants in Pakistan, effective July 1, 2025. The price hike follows the imposition of the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Adoption Levy announced in the Federal Budget 2025–26.
According to the company, the adjustment stems solely from the government-imposed levy, with no other market factors influencing the new pricing—except for a select premium variant.
Revised Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Prices
Both Tucson Hybrid Smart and Signature variants have been impacted by the recent price revision. The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Smart has gone up by Rs 221,000, now retailing at Rs 11,220,000.
Meanwhile, the Tucson Hybrid Signature has seen an increase of Rs 241,000, setting its new price at Rs 12,240,000. These changes reflect the direct influence of NEV-related taxation on hybrid SUVs in the local market.
Bold New Design and Exterior Features
The 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid features a modern and bold exterior, in line with Hyundai’s evolving design language. The front fascia includes slim, high-tech LED headlamps paired with distinctive daytime running lights.
A chrome-accented grille, trapezoidal air intake, and stylish twin fog lights enhance its aggressive stance. The rear section sports a roof-mounted spoiler with an integrated brake light and sleek wraparound taillights, giving it a sporty edge.
Interior Comfort and Convenience
Inside the cabin, the Tucson Hybrid offers a refined and functional layout. The dual-tone grey interior, combined with durable fabric seating, provides a comfortable environment for both drivers and passengers.
A newly integrated 10-inch infotainment touchscreen streamlines access to vehicle functions. Other highlights include power windows and locks, cruise control, heated mirrors, automatic climate control, and two front airbags for enhanced safety. The spacious layout is ideal for families and long-distance trips.
Powertrain and Driving Performance
The 2025 Tucson Hybrid is powered by a 2.0L DOHC 16-valve inline-4 engine, generating 155 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 196 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering a smooth and fuel-efficient driving experience suitable for city streets and highways alike.
Conclusion
Combining style, practicality, and solid hybrid performance, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid continues to position itself as a top contender in Pakistan’s crossover SUV segment. Despite the price hike due to the NEV levy, it remains a compelling option for buyers seeking innovation and value.
