Chinese automotive brand iCAUR is stepping closer to entering Pakistan with new SUV models as its local presence gains momentum.
iCAUR is gearing up to enter the Pakistani automotive market with a new range of SUVs, marking another major development in the country’s rapidly expanding new-energy vehicle segment.
While the company has yet to officially disclose the names of the models planned for Pakistan, its increasing activity on social media indicates that the launch could be approaching.
The brand’s entry into Pakistan took a significant step forward in April 2026, when iCAUR International signed a memorandum of understanding with NextGen Auto Pvt. Ltd., a company operating under the Nishat Group.
The partnership is expected to establish iCAUR’s presence in the local market and introduce its globally positioned SUV lineup to Pakistani consumers.
Although the upcoming models remain officially undisclosed, iCAUR currently offers products such as the V23 and V27 internationally. Their specifications and positioning provide an indication of what Pakistani buyers could potentially expect from the brand.
iCAUR V23
The iCAUR V23 is positioned as the brand’s compact entry-level SUV and has gained attention for its distinctive retro-inspired styling. Its boxy body, round split-style headlights and rugged proportions give it the appearance of a modern interpretation of classic off-road vehicles.
The V23 is a pure battery electric vehicle designed mainly for urban driving while also offering capability for light recreational use.
The model has expanded across international markets, particularly Southeast Asia, and has also begun entering European markets. It received a Red Dot Design Award in 2026, further highlighting its design appeal.
iCAUR V27
At the other end of the lineup is the larger iCAUR V27, a flagship SUV designed with a stronger focus on off-road capability and long-distance travel. The model features a futuristic yet classic exterior, high ground clearance and an elevated cabin.
The V27 uses an electric-first range-extender powertrain, with a petrol engine serving primarily as a generator to recharge the battery. It produces up to 449 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
The SUV offers a claimed electric range of around 200 kilometres and a combined driving range of up to 1,000 kilometres. Its flexible interior can also transform into a camping setup, adding to its adventure-oriented appeal.
With iCAUR increasing its visibility in Pakistan, more details about its upcoming SUVs are expected to emerge soon.
