Chinese new-energy vehicle brand iCAUR is preparing to enter Pakistan with the V23 and V27 SUVs as demand for electric and range-extender vehicles grows.
Chinese automotive brand iCAUR is moving closer to entering Pakistan’s growing new-energy vehicle market, with the company expected to introduce two new SUV models for local consumers. The upcoming arrival could further strengthen competition in Pakistan’s rapidly expanding electric and electrified vehicle segment.
The brand is reportedly being introduced in Pakistan by Nishat Group through NexGen Auto. The move also expands the group’s association with Chery, following the local introduction of OMODA and JAECOO vehicles.
According to reports and recent sightings, iCAUR is expected to launch the iCAUR V23 and iCAUR V27 in Pakistan. The two SUVs target different customer segments, with the V23 focusing on compact urban mobility while the V27 is positioned as a larger, more adventure-oriented model.
iCAUR V23
The iCAUR V23 is expected to serve as the brand’s compact entry-level SUV. Its design is one of its key attractions, combining a boxy profile, rounded split-style headlights and rugged proportions inspired by traditional off-road vehicles.
Unlike conventional petrol-powered SUVs, the V23 is a fully electric vehicle powered by a battery. Its compact dimensions and electric powertrain make it particularly suited to urban driving, while its rugged styling gives it additional appeal for buyers seeking a recreational vehicle.
The model has already expanded into several international markets, particularly across Southeast Asia, and has also started reaching European markets. Its design recognition was further strengthened after it received a Red Dot Design Award in 2026.
iCAUR V27
The larger iCAUR V27 is positioned as a flagship SUV with a stronger emphasis on long-distance travel and off-road capability. It combines a modern exterior with classic SUV-inspired proportions, increased ground clearance and a spacious elevated cabin.
The V27 uses an electric-first range-extender powertrain, with a petrol engine primarily functioning as a generator to recharge the battery. The setup produces up to 449 horsepower, while the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5.9 seconds.
The V27 reportedly offers around 200 kilometres of electric driving range and a combined range of up to 1,000 kilometres. Its adaptable interior can also be configured for camping, reinforcing its positioning as an adventure-focused SUV.
With iCAUR preparing to enter Pakistan, the V23 and V27 could give local consumers more choices as interest in electric and range-extender vehicles continues to rise.
