Increased Price of KIA Stonic in Pakistan from July 2025

KIA Stonic 02

KIA Pakistan has revised the prices across its entire vehicle range, effective from July 2025. This decision comes in response to mounting economic challenges, including the introduction of the NEV Levy in the Federal Budget 2025–26, currency depreciation, and a spike in international freight rates.

While several KIA models have seen notable price hikes—some increasing by as much as Rs 700,000—the Stonic EX variant has received the smallest adjustment, with a modest increase of just Rs 95,000.

Updated KIA Stonic Prices in Pakistan

Under the new pricing structure, the KIA Stonic EX is now priced at Rs 4,862,000, compared to its previous rate of Rs 4,767,000—marking a rise of Rs 95,000.

On the other hand, the more advanced Stonic EX+ has seen a significant surge of Rs 499,000, moving its price from Rs 5,500,000 to Rs 5,999,000.

This widening price gap between the EX and EX+ trims makes the former a more attractive option for budget-focused consumers seeking a compact SUV with style and practicality.

KIA Stonic EX Returns for Budget-Conscious Buyers

Earlier in 2025, KIA Pakistan brought back the Stonic EX variant to its lineup, after previously discontinuing it in favor of the premium EX+ version.

Its reintroduction was initially welcomed due to its competitive Rs 4,767,000 price point, targeting customers who desired a compact SUV packed with modern features at a more affordable cost. However, the latest revision has brought it close to the Rs 4.9 million threshold.

The Stonic EX’s comeback aligns with KIA’s broader strategy to tap into the rising demand for affordable yet well-equipped vehicles in the local market.

Despite Hike, Stonic EX Remains a Value Option

Even with the latest price revision, the Stonic EX holds a strong position in the compact SUV category, offering a balanced mix of style, performance, and cutting-edge features.

Conclusion

With automotive prices climbing due to external financial pressures, KIA Pakistan’s decision to limit the increase on the Stonic EX variant could preserve its appeal among cost-conscious consumers.

For buyers prioritizing efficiency and core features without overspending, the EX trim continues to present a smart and economical alternative to the higher-end EX+ version.
